About Me
My name is Dave, founder of Hidden Leaf Construction.
I began working in the construction industry in 2008, learning the trade from the ground up. Early in my career, I helped renovate rental properties that were being prepared for the market. During that time, I developed skills in painting, drywall repair, and finish trim work.
Soon after, I joined a large building firm where I expanded my experience in rough framing, stair construction, and structural carpentry. I later worked with another builder specializing in stick framing, gaining a deeper understanding of residential construction and the craftsmanship required to build quality homes.
After years of learning and refining my skills, I began taking on small side projects for homeowners. As word spread and the number of calls continued to grow, I realized it was time to take the next step. I invested my savings into a truck, professional tools, and officially launched Hidden Leaf Construction.
For the past 12 years, Hidden Leaf Construction has been proudly serving homeowners throughout Chicago’s North Shore and Lake County, specializing in kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovations, basement finishing, and custom carpentry.
Today, I’m proud to lead a dependable and skilled team dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Our goal is simple: provide honest communication, organized project management, and results homeowners can trust.
